Everyone has stories to tell, and the world if full of stories. One of my favorite activities is listening to people talk about their lives and experiences and then giving them voice. And, if I’m not doing that, then chances are I’m investigating the world around me, and researching the globe and universe beyond that, shining light on the challenges at hand, and seeking greater understanding. I look for positive approaches (individual and organizational) to those challenges: what’s working, what’s not working, and why.
I truly believe that if we do not learn from history we are bound to repeat it. That is one motivator for telling the stories of the present: to assure they are fully understood and not passed by in the rush of daily life. The other reason is simply a passion for learning.
As I ask questions, and discover realities, truth and meaning unfolds. By distilling, organizing, and sharing these truths, I hope to connect and add value to my community, both local and global.
